I just want to add our voice to the others that have expressed their gratitude to Susi Snyder. We are equally pleased to listen to her wise words. Norway is one of the countries that has been a very strong supporter of broader involvement by NGOs and civil society.

I would like to pick up on what the Philippines said about the need for education for the less seasoned diplomats in this area. I think we all have a need to be educated and re-educated in these matters all the time. And this is where the NGOs really have an important added value; to help us see issues from different perspectives and in a broader perspective.

I am very pleased that we had this opportunity today and hope for more interactive sessions like these in the future.
