UN marks the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons

On 30 September, the United Nations hosted an event to mark the International Day for the Total Elimination of Nuclear Weapons, which takes place each year on 26 September. Held on the margins of the UN General Assembly high-level week, the meeting brought together representatives of governments, international organisations, and civil society groups.
