Reaching Critical Will and WILPF's Women, Peace, and Security Programme are thrilled to announce Season 2 of Think & Resist: Conversations About Feminist Peace.

Season 2 highlights:

  • Weaponisation of Artificial Intelligence (AI): An examination of the human rights concerns associated with AI technologies in military applications, including autonomous weapons and decision support systems.
  • Petrobromance and Nuclear Priesthood: A two-part discussion on the connections between the nuclear and fossil fuel industries, their impacts on communities, and the resistance movements challenging these powerful sectors.
  • Land Grabbing vs. Land Defenders: An analysis of the rising phenomenon of land grabbing, its effects on communities, and the intersection with armed conflict and militarisation.
  • Military Spending and the US "Defense Industry": A two-part discussion delving into global military expenditure trends and a closer look at the U.S. arms industry, exploring the economic and gendered impacts of defense spending. 

Each episode features representatives from WILPF’s Women, Peace, and Security and Disarmament teams moderating conversations with experts, activists, and scholars. Our guests bring diverse experiences and perspectives, enriching our understanding of these complex issues.
