Arms Trade Treaty Negotiating Conference II
The second UN Conference on the Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) met at UN Headquarters in New York City from 18–28 March 2013. The President of the conference was Ambassador Peter Woolcott of Australia.
On 28 March, the conference failed to adopt the ATT text. However, the General Assembly adopted the text with a vote of 154 in favour, 3 against, and 23 abstentions on Tuesday, 2 April. For details please see RCW's press releases on 28 March and 2 April.
